Lenovo has today launched three new devices — the Smart Bulb, Smart Camera, and Smart Display — to expand its existing portfolio of smart home devices. All three devices are powered by Google Assistant to allow hands-free access using commands. Let’s look at the specifications and details for each of these new devices.
Lenovo Smart Bulb
The Lenovo Smart Bulb is a plug and play device that can be operated using either voice commands, just like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, or through the Lenovo Link app. Users can use voice commands to control things like the color, temperature, brightness of the bulb. Further, the bedroom lights can be changed to warmer light at bedtime to create a more natural sleeping environment.
Lenovo Smart Camera
The Lenovo Smart Camera offers high-resolution images and a wider angle of view. Lenovo says the camera can scan the area with a 355-degree FOV from side-to-side and 120-degree up-and-down. It includes an infrared night vision, which, just like it sounds, allows users to view inside the house at night from a distance of up to 20 meters. The camera offers the two-way audio capability, using which users can keep a tab of their house using voice commands and also help their children to go to sleep by singing them lullabies from a remote location.
Lenovo Smart Display
The Smart Display is the company’s latest addition to the lineup that comes with a 7-inch display along with Google Assistant. Users can use the device to do things like answer video calls, monitor their house, check who’s at the door, and many more, all using voice commands. In addition to this, users can also use the Smart Display to control over 5000 smart devices from the major brands. And on top of everything, use it as an always-on display for getting help, viewing information, and entertainment using Google Assistant.
Lenovo Smart Bulb, Smart Camera, and Smart Display: Pricing and Availability
The Lenovo Smart Display is priced at Rs 8999, and it will available through Lenovo’s website, Flipkart online, and Lenovo Exclusive stores and Croma stores offline. As for the pricing of the Smart Bulb and Smart Camera, Lenovo is yet to reveal the pricing for both the devices.
