Vivo S1 Pro with Snapdragon 665 and Quad Rear Cameras Launched
Vivo recently announced its latest S-series lineup of smartphones, with the S1 being the first smartphone in the lineup. Today, after teasing the smartphone for a while, Vivo has officially announced the second smartphone in the S-series portfolio, the S1 Pro. Interestingly, the Vivo S1 Pro follows Vivo’s ‘Make in India’ commitment, and as a reason, is manufactured at Vivo’s facility in Greater Noida.
Vivo S1 Pro: Design and Display
The S1 Pro comes with a plastic back with a gradient finish design on the back, with three color options: Dreamy White, Jazzy Blue, and Mystic Black. It has a diamond-shaped camera cutout to house the quad rear cameras, and towards the front, there is a 6.38-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The display comes with the Schott Xensation 3D display protection on top, and it also features the ‘Always on Display’ functionality, which allows you to have a quick glance at things like time or other notifications.
Vivo S1 Pro: Performance
At its core, the S1 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with Adreno 610 GPU, coupled with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It includes a 4500mAh battery with Vivo’s 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging technology. Besides this, the smartphone comes with an Ultra Game Mode, which, just as it sounds, offers uninterrupted gaming experience by blocking out all the incoming messages and alerts. Furthermore, it also has Vivo’s Multi-Turbo engine that improves the device’s performance, and at the same time, keeps it cooler.
As for other hardware specifications, the S1 Pro comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication, a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, and also includes support for dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, and NFC. On the software front, it runs on Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9 Pie, out of the box.
Vivo S1 Pro: Camera
In the camera department, the S1 Pro sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 48MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP super wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field-of-view, a 2MP macro with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP bokeh lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera with AI Face Beauty and Pose Master features.

The Vivo S1 Pro comes in only one configuration: 8GB + 128GB and is priced at Rs 19,990. It will go on sale in India starting January 4 across offline and online channels (including Vivo India’s e-store, Amazon, and Flipkart.
