With over 8 billion passengers transported annually, the Indian Railway is the global leader in passenger transport. However, there are still inefficiencies when offering digital services. Indian Railways has different apps for its core services, meaning if you are a passenger, you must install multiple apps to utilise them.

SwaRail app Download

Addressing this concern, the Indian government has introduced the SwaRail app, which combines all the services, making it easy for users to access all services on a single platform. Now, with a single app, you can access all the Indian railway services.

The app offers various features such as booking reserved and unreserved tickets, purchasing platform tickets – one of the biggest concerns in Indian Railways, and getting the real-time location of the trains, similar to the popular Where is My Train app.

Indian Railways has officially launched the app, and now it is available to download on the Google and Apple App Stores. Currently, the app is live on the Google Play Store and is expected to go live on iOS in the coming days. Follow the link below to download and install the Swarail app on your smartphone.
