Taiwanese OEM Asus has now unveiled their latest addition to their ZenPower lineup of powerbanks in the form of the Asus ZenPower Max. Guess what, it comes with a 26,800mAH cell on the inside, that is capable of charging not only your smartphone but also your laptop.

Asus already has a number of powerbanks in their kitty, these include the 10,050mAh ZenPower Pro and the recently launched 20,100mAh ZenPower Ultra. But none was as large as their latest product. In fact, only a few OEMs have powerbanks as large as this and its goes without saying that US accessory brand Anker is among them.

Coming back to the specs, the ZenPower Max packs a total of 8 built-in 3350mAH cells which are arranged longitudinally to give the powerbank a tower like shape. That said, the engineers at Asus has designed their powerbank quite ergonomically.

The Asus ZenPower Max comes in two different colour variants – black, silver – and measures just 222.5mm x 42mm x 42mm. It’s pretty light too at 570g, thus carrying it around in your backpack won’t be an issue. As for the ports, the Asus ZenPower Max features with two Qualcomm Quick Charge certified USB 2.0 ports that comes with an output capacity of 5V 2.4A/9V 2A/12V 1.5A. Besides, there also a USB Type C port that can be used for charging your laptops and smartphones.

Asus claims that their powerbank can charge their ZenBook 3 about 1.3 times, ZenPad 3S 10 2.6 times and the ZenFone 3 Deluxe 5.9 times respectively in one single charge. To add some utilitarian value to their product, the Taiwanese firm has also included a LED torch into their powerbank, which they claim can last upto 12 continuous days on a single full charge. As for the pricing, the Asus ZenPower Max is marked at 1050 Yuan ($157/Rs 10,483 approx.)
