Samsung Galaxy A10, A30, and A50 Launched in India Starting at Rs 8,490

The refreshed Galaxy A-series of smartphones, the Galaxy A30 and A50 from Samsung were officially launched in the global market a few days back, and now, the company has officially launched both the smartphones, in addition to a third model, the Galaxy A10, in India today. In an effort to keep the brand relevant in different price brackets, Samsung has been making efforts constantly to attract consumers. For which, it has also launched a new M-series to keep up with competitors in the budget smartphone segment. And now, the A-series for the mid-range segment.

Samsung Galaxy A10 Specifications

The Galaxy A10 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ Infinity-V display. As the name suggests, the device features a waterdrop notch at the top that houses the front camera, which is why Samsung calls it the Infinity-V display. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 7884 chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card). The A10 comes with a 3400mAh battery and runs on Samsung One UI based on Android Pie.

In terms of optics, the A10 sports a single 13MP primary camera with an f/1.9 and a 5MP camera with f/2.0 on the front for selfies and face recognition.

The Galaxy A10 comes in three different color options: Black, Blue, and Red. It is available only in 2GB + 32GB variant, which is priced at Rs 8490 and will be available from March 2.

The Galaxy A30 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, at 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution. As the name suggests, the device features a waterdrop notch at the top, which is why Samsung calls it the Infinity-U display. In terms of design, the A30 has a “3D Glasstic” design, which consists of a glass back and a plastic frame around.

Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 7904 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card). For authentication, the device uses a fingerprint sensor, mounted on the rear of the device, to unlock the device. In terms of other hardware, the A30 comes with USB Type-C for charging and data transfer and a 4000mAh battery, with 15W fast-charging support to power the device. The A30 runs on Samsung One UI based on Android Pie.

In terms of optics, the A30 sports a dual camera set up on the rear (16MP primary with f/1.7 + 5MP with f/2.2), and a single 16MP camera with f/2.0 on the front for selfies.

In terms of other hardware, the A50 comes with USB Type-C for charging and data transfer and a 4000mAh battery, with 15W fast-charging support to power the device.
