Oppo has today officially launched the Oppo Reno 3 series after teasing the smartphone for a while in its home market, China. Besides the two smartphones, Oppo has also launched its latest pair of truly wireless earbuds, the Oppo Enco Free. The Reno 3 series lineup includes two mid-range smartphones, the Reno 3 and the Reno 3 Pro, both of which come with 5G connectivity and run on the latest ColorOS 7 based on Android 10. Oppo Reno 3 Pro
The Reno 3 Pro sports a 6.5-inch curved OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, in-display fingerprint scanner, and a hole-punch to house the front-facing camera. The display supports HDR10+ and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and offers a 2400 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 92.1 percent screen-to-body ratio for an immersive experience.
At its core, the Reno 3 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 765G gaming chipset with Adreno 620 GPU, coupled with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of onboard storage. It has a 4025mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 fast charging support and runs on the latest ColorOS 7 based on Android 10. What’s more, the phone comes with 5G SA/ NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, NFC, and USB Type-C.
In the camera department, the Reno 3 Pro sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 115-degree field of view, a 13MP telephoto lens with 5x hybrid zoom, and a 2MP macro lens. Towards the front, it has a 2MP front-facing camera housed within the hole-punch cutout for selfies.

The Oppo Reno 3 flaunts a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 2400 × 1080 pixels screen resolution, a teardrop-style notch, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. At its core, the phone comes with a 7nm Dimensity 1000L octa-core processor with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, paired with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on the latest ColorOS 7 based on Android 10, out of the box, and includes a 4025mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 fash charging support.
As for other hardware specifications, the phone comes with 5G SA/ NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, NFC, and USB Type-C.
For optics, the Reno 3 sports a quad-camera setup at the rear, which includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP mono lens. On the front, the phone has a 2MP front-facing camera housed inside the notch at the top.
