Reliance Jio recently revised its JioFiber plans, which come with symmetric speed, unlimited data, and bundled subscription to OTT platforms, all at a starting tariff of Rs 399. To compete with the same, we now have Airtel coming with its revised Xstrem bundle that starts at Rs 499 and offers unlimited data with up to 1Gbps of speed, along with a bunch of add-ons. Here’s a closer look at the revised plans.
The new Airtel Xstream plans now start at Rs 499 and go all the way up to Rs 3999. These include a total of five plans: Rs 499, Rs 799, Rs 999, Rs 1499, and Rs 3999. All plans come with Airtel Xstream 4K Android box (worth Rs 3999), which offers 10,000+ movies, shows, and original series across different OTT platforms. The 4K Android box can convert a regular TV to a smart TV and runs on Android 9.0 to offer access to different apps via PlayStore. It also includes a remote controller with Google Assistant support for quick and easy access.
To add to that, the plans provide unlimited calls and unlimited data, with data capped at 3300GB (FUP). Furthermore, the Rs 999, Rs 1499, and Rs 3999 plan also include complimentary access to Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and ZEE5 subscriptions.

- Rs 3999: 1Gbps speed with unlimited data and calls; Airtel Xstream Android TV box with access to 10,000+ movies and TV shows from 7 different OTT platforms, along withDisney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, ZEE5 subscription
All new plans are available for non-commercial uses only and require users to pay one-time security (refundable) deposit of Rs 1500 for the Xstream Hybrid 4K TV box. As for the availability, the Airtel Xstream bundle will be available to customers starting September 7.
In comparison, Reliance offers five JioFiber plans, which start at Rs 399 for 30Mbps speed and go all the up to Rs 1499 for 300Mbps speed, with unlimited data and voice, and the same FUP as that offered onAirtel Xstream. However, JioFiber offers up to 12 OTT subscriptions with its highest plan and also provides a 30-day free trial for a refundable deposit of Rs 2500 for those who intend to check out the 4K set-top box.
