Amazon has today launched an all-new Kindle device for eBook readers. The highlighting features of the new Kindle are a new design, a front light, and the company’s latest e-ink technology. To make the deal sweeter Amazon is also giving away a free eBook to all customers who order the device on or before April 9, and two-year device protection plan, worth Rs 1,999, for absolutely free.
With the new Kindle, Amazon is now offering the front light feature on an affordable Kindle device, with a design overhaul, and its all-new e-ink technology. The display on the new Kindle is a 6-inch display with 167ppi of pixel density, with a capacitive touch screen, and increased contrast. With the front light, users can adjust the brightness level of the display and enjoy reading their favorite book even in low-light or dark surroundings. Similar to other Kindle models, the new model also claims to offer a week of battery life on a single charge, which can get you through a lot of reading.

The all-new Kindle is priced at Rs 7,999 in India and $90 in the US, and is available for pre-order, starting today on Amazon.in and Amazon.com respectively, with shipping starting April 10. Users can also buy a cover for their Kindle, which comes in – charcoal black, sandstone white, cobalt blue, and punch red, and starts at Rs 1,499, on Amazon.
