Alongside the Mi Band 4 that Xiaomi announced yesterday, the company also announced a few more ‘ecosystem’ devices. One such device is the Mi AI Translator. It comes pre-installed with Oxford and Collins dictionary, three Chinese dictionaries, and supports offline translation for Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, and German languages.
The Mi AI Translator features a 4-inch touch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and weights in at 134gm. At its core, it is powered by a 12nm 2GHz multi-core processor, paired with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 64GB of internal storage. The device runs on a 2200mAh battery with 25 days of standby time and also has dual microphones and loudspeaker. It comes in two variants: WiFi and 4G + WiFi, with the 4G + WiFi variant coming with SIM support, along with the WiFi hotspot sharing option.
It comes with a 5MP camera with 5cm Macro and AF autofocus support, which allows users to get instant translations on the go. In addition to this, it also comes with an AI voice recorder with voice-to-text option and an eye mode to reduce fatigue.
Some of the other functionalities that the translator offers include speaking repeat, dialogue, classic reading, word association, war of words, detection review, word radio, speech translation, camera translation, multi-lingual country support, and more. It also offers real-time translation in 34 languages covering over 190 countries and regions across the world.
