Realme has today announced a total of three new smartphones in China. These smartphones include the likes of the all-new Realme X7 series: Realme X7 and X7 Pro, and the Realme V3. Of these, while the Realme X7 and X7 Pro are on the higher-end of the spectrum and offer better specifications, the V3 is more of an affordable 5G smartphone. Here’s what the new devices have to offer.
Realme X7 and X7 Pro
The Realme X7 comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED, with a 2.5D glass on top and Corning’s Gorilla Glass protection. It offers an FHD+ resolution. It offers an FHD+ screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the vanilla X7 the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 800U octa-core chipset with the ARM Mali-G57 GPU for graphics, whereas the Pro runs on the powerful Dimensity 1000+, which is also a 7nm octa-core chip, with the Mali-G77 GPU. To aid the processor, the devices come with 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB / 256GB (on Realme X7 Pro) of UFS 2.1 storage. The vanilla X7 draws power from a 4300mAh battery, while the Pro gets a slightly bigger 4500mAh. Both of which support 65W SuperDart charging. Towards the front, the two phones have the same 32MP camera.
As already mentioned, the Realme V3 is an affordable 5G smartphone from Realme, and therefore, it does cut down on the specifications and features when compared to the X7 and X7 Pro. For starters, there is a 6.52-inch LCD with a mini-drop notch for the front camera. The display offers a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. At its core, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 720, which is an octa-core chipset, based on the 7nm process, and has the Mali-G57 GPU for graphics processing. There is 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB / 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. For powering the internals, the device includes a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
