Hero Electronix forayed into consumer technology last year with the launch of a new brand, Qubo. During the initial days, the company’s product portfolio included four products, namely Smart Indoor Camera, Smart Gas Sensor, Smart Smoke Sensor, and Smart Door/Window Sensor. A few months down the line, earlier this year, the company introduced the Qubo Smart Home Security Camera, and now, it is back with another product, the Qubo Baby Cam. The company says the device is “designed as an extra pair of eyes and ears to work on your behalf and make parenting a joy.”
The Qubo Baby Cam is an AI-powered monitoring device that allows parents to monitor their kids from anywhere, and also gives them the ability to interact with the kids in certain ways. It features a 1080p (full-HD) camera with support for night vision. The AI features on the camera constantly monitor the kids and alert the parents when their attention is required. Furthermore, to allow for better interactions, there is support for two-way communication with echo cancellation technology, which can come in handy for parents to communicate with the kids or the caretakers.
Taking things further, the Baby Cam also comes with what it calls, smart virtual cradle, which works by ensuring a safe zone around the baby, that when triggered, sends you an alert. Besides, the camera also offers the auto lullaby feature to engage better with the kid and gives you the ability to record a time-lapse video of the child’s daily activities. What’s more, it even works with Alexa device so you can monitor the child on Alexa devices as well.
In terms of security, the company suggests the Qubo Baby Cam comes with military-grade Q-crypto secured data streaming, with cloud storage in India, to keep the data secure.
Qubo Baby Cam: Pricing and Availability
The Qubo Baby Cam is priced at Rs 7,490. It will be available on Amazon India for a cheaper price of Rs 5,990, with availability across retail outlets starting this month.
