How to Schedule Messages on Instagram

Ensure you have updated the latest version of Instagram to schedule messages.

  • Open Instagram on your device and go to your DMs.
  • Tap on the chat you want to schedule a message for, enter the message (Currently available only for text messages), and long-press on the send button.
  • This will bring a new schedule interface. Here, you can select the date and time for the message to be sent.
  • After setting it, click on Send on schedule later to confirm.
  • That’s it. Your message will be delivered on the time you have set.
  • To view and manage all your scheduled messages in the chat, A new option, Scheduled messages, will appear above the text box. Here, you can view all your scheduled messages.
  • You can modify or delete messages or send them immediately if you want. You can schedule multiple messages at once.
