Reliance Jio’s Cricket Channel on JioTV Now Lets Viewers Toggle Camera During Live Broadcast
Jio has disrupted the Indian Internet ecosystem by bringing in the affordable internet for everyone. Apart from the 4G services last year they also offered a feature phone that bundled all the quintessential and came with an attractive monthly data plan. This time around Jio has announced what it calls “India’s First Interactive sports experience.” The new feature will be exclusively available for JioTV users in India and can be accessed while watching the ongoing Nidahas trophy.
The intuitive feature is aimed at changing the way we access Sports telecast. With the new feature, viewers will get a chance to enhance their viewing experience by toggling between 5 different camera angles. Viewers can also switch to their preferred language of commentary. Alongside English and Hindi, the channel also supports regional languages like Kannada, Telegu, and Tamil. That apart, the Jio TV viewers will also get access to opinions of leading cricket experts and commentators including Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra and Gaurav Kapoor.
Henceforth no need to wait for the scorecard to roll over, since the stream allows you to check the score and the other quintessential statistics with a tap of a button. Additionally, you can also catch up with the recorded telecast and replay the desired segment of the match. In order to get this feature, the JioTV users need to update their app to the latest version. Adding to that, you can also stream the telecast on your TV considering that you have a Chromecast or any other equivalent setup.
“Interactivity in sports will transform the way sports is consumed in India. Jio continues to deliver the best and most premium content exclusively to its users through the Jio apps. Additionally, we have challenged status quo and redefined the existing user experience, with the help of technology. Jio will continue to bring a superlative consumer experience in the areas of sports, AR, VR, Immersive viewing and more in the coming days,” said Mr. Akash Ambani, Director, Jio.
