Xiaomi has launched two new earphones in India, the Mi Earphones and the Mi Earphones Basic. The new Mi Earphones Basic will join a list of other Mi In-Ear headphones that Xiaomi had launched recently.
Xiaomi Mi Earphones
The Xiaomi Mi Earphones features a dynamic Bass with metal chamber created by precision processes like diamond cutting, CD engraving and anodizing a piece of aluminum. In order to achieve resonating bass, Xiaomi has used aerospace grade metal diaphragm. The sound and airflow are enhanced by 3rd gen balanced damping system. As far as controls are concerned the Xiaomi Mi Earphones come with a wired remote that features an inbuilt MEMS microphone.
The Kevlar fiber cables along with braided sleeving add a certain degree of resistance to wear and discoloration. As usual, users will get three different bud sizes and the earphone weighs at just 14 grams.
Xiaomi Mi Earphones Basic
The Xiaomi Mi Earphones basic focusses on bare essentials and yet it does seem to offer respectable audio features. The Mi Earphones Basic is made out of an Aluminium chamber that offers balanced and clear sound quality. This, of course, is anodized to protect against corrosion and is scratch and slip resistant. It borrows the sound damping system of the Xiaomi Mi Earphones. Xiaomi has angled the body such that it will fit snugly on your ears and the AUX jack is bent at 45 degrees for better durability. The ergonomics also focusses on the anti-slip design which will prevent the earphones from dropping out easily.
Even the Xiaomi Mi Earphones Basic comes with a pause, play, answer and hang up calls button along with a microphone. The Xiaomi Mi Earphones come in Black and Silver colors and are priced at Rs 699. The Xiaomi Mi Earphones Basic is priced at Rs 399 and will be available in Black and Red colors. As a launch offer customers buying Redmi 5 or Redmi Note 5 will get an additional Rs 100 off on these earphones. Both the earphones are available on Mi.com.
