Huawei has added a new budget offering to its Y Series of phones. The Huawei Y6 2018 comes equipped with a FullView display and a face unlock feature. The Huawei Y6 2018 looks like a premium offering thanks to the bold design and the chamfered edges that run across the phone.
The Huawei Y6 2018 comes equipped with a 5.7-inch FullView 2.5D curved display. The device is powered by a Quad-core Snapdragon 425 with Adreno 308 and paired with 2GB of RAM. On the storage front, the device offers a paltry 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via the external microSD card slot.
Camera options on the Huawei Y6 2018 include a 13-Megapixel primary sensor with LED flash and a 5-Megapixel secondary/selfie sensor that also comes with an LED flash. The Huawei Y6 2018 also touts speakers that are capable of producing sound of up to 88 dB and a marked improvement over its predecessor. The device runs on Android 8.0 along with the EMUI 8.0 overlay and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and Dual SIM.
Huawei is yet to announce the pricing and the availability details for the device. The Huawei Y6 2018 will be available in Blue, Black, and Golden colors. It’s worth mentioning that Huawei Y6 2018 foregoes the fingerprint sensor and offers a Face unlock feature.
