Lenovo today, along with the much-hyped Z5 smartphone and Watch X smartwatch, has launched two other phones, the Lenovo K5 Note as well as the Lenovo A5 at an event in China.
lenovo K5 Note Specifications and Price
The K5 note seems like a relaunch as Lenovo had already released a phone with the same moniker long back in India. Coming to the specifications of the device, the Lenovo K5 Note comes with a 6-inch IPS display with the modern 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there’s a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 450 quad-core processor along with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. For optics, the K5 Note uses a 16MP camera on the rear with AI integration and an 8MP front-facing shooter. The device runs on ZUI 4.0 based on Android Oreo and has support for dual SIM + micro SD card for storage expansion of up to 256GB. There’s a 3760mAh battery to power the device. Support for face unlock is also present along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Lenovo K5 Note will be sold in 3 colors – Black, Gold and Blue for 799 Yuan ($125/INR 8500) for the 3+32GB variant and 999 Yuan ($155/INR 10,500) for the 4+64GB variant.
Lenovo A5 Specifications and Price
The Lenovo A5, on the other hand, comes with a smaller 5.45-inch 18:9 HD+ display and is powered by the Mediatek MT6739 1.5GHz octa-core chip coupled with 3GB of RAM. ZUI 4.0 on top of Android 8.1 handles software while a large 4000mAh battery provides the juice. For cameras, Lenovo has gone with a 13MP f/2.2 shooter to the back with support for AI and an 8MP f/2.2 shooter to the front. Similar to the K5 note, there’s support for dual SIM + micro SD card up to 256GB.
The Lenovo A5 will be sold in 3 color variants – Black, Gold and Rose Gold for 599 Yuan ($95/INR 6,300) for 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
