2026 Smartphone Launch Calendar: Everything Coming This Year

Did you know that, in 2025 alone, there were roughly 450 new smartphone launches across the globe! An even more interesting trend is that consumers have moved away from entry-level, and many users have preferred the mid and premium segment, according to the data, and of course, AI has played a major role in smartphones, too.

Not just that, at the end of the year, smartphone component prices have risen significantly. This is expected to continue throughout 2026, so this year, 2026, we can expect higher smartphone prices, especially the premium flagship smartphone, and along with the price hike in lower-end phones. Not just that, we might also see the return of SD card slots in affordable smartphones. However, that doesn’t stop brands from launching smartphones in 2026. This year is going to be another big year with many new smartphones.

Samsung will kick off the year with its premium Samsung Galaxy 26 series, and also, plenty of brands have announced launch dates for their latest smartphone, Realme being the first with a number series, followed by Redmi and more.

2026 Smartphone Launch Calendar

Let’s go in alphabetical order, starting with Apple.

Apple

Like every year, Apple is set to announce its latest iPhone series in the latter half of 2026; however, this year is going to be different. According to the reports, Apple is set to launch five new iPhones this year, starting with the iPhone SE4, which is rumoured to be announced in spring 2026, and the standard iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max during the September event.

However, rumors suggest that the base iPhone is delayed and it may not be announced until spring 2027. However, Apple iPhone Air 2 is expected to make its debut in the iPhone 18 series. And for the first time, Apple is going to announce its first foldable smartphone; we already have plenty of leaks. So here are all the iPhones coming in 2026.

Google

Google has been consistently launching its Pixel series, and this year, we can expect up to five new Pixel smartphones. Starting with the Pixel 10a, an affordable version, and probably the best-selling Pixel phone, is set to launch in May 2026. The regular Pixel 11 series, which now includes Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel Fold, is set to be unveiled in August 2026.

Unlike Apple or Samsung, Google may not announce a slim version of its Pixel series anytime soon. We might see the standard series this year, too.

iQOO, Vivo’s sub-brand, has been consistently launching smartphones in India and globally. iQOO has both mainstream number series and Neo series, and also other budget series.

iQOO primarily targets gamers, and this year, we can expect plenty of smartphones from this brand. Starting with the flagship iQOO 16, which is expected to launch in November 2026 or early December.

iQOO has already announced its iQOO Neo 11 series in China, which includes iQOO Neo 11 and Neo 11 Pro, which are expected to debut in other regions soon in the first half of 2026. In addition, the budget iQOO Z series is also expected to make a debut in 2026.

Lava

Following the launch timeline, Lava is going to debut Lava Agni 5 in India in 2026 and might also launch in the UK, since Lava has expanded its operations outside India. Lava Agni 5 is set to launch in the second half of 2025. Lava is also going to announce successors of its Lava Blaze affordable lineup, the Bold series, and the Storm series.

Motorola

Motorola is another brand that floods the market with hundreds of models, and this year is going to be no different. Not only that, but Motorola is going to announce its new signature series, which might compete with premium Android flagship smartphones.

Motorola has officially confirmed the launch date for its signature series in India on January 7. We should know the full details once they are announced. Not just the signature series,

Moto might also launch its first-ever foldable-style smartphone, which is expected to launch later this year, and its Razr flip series will also see a successor in 2026, along with its edge series and G series smartphones.

Nothing

Nothing has differentiated itself as a unique design and also offering clean software; however, 2025 was a rough year for them. The Nothing Phone 3 has received a lot of backlash because of its expensive price tag and also adding bloatware to the UI.

Despite those setbacks, Nothing already has models lined up for 2026, starting with Nothing 4a and 4a pro, which are going to debut in March 2026, according to BI’s listing.

The Nothing Phone 4, successor to Nothing Phone 3, is also expected to make a debut in the second half of 2026, likely in August or September. We should see how much this smartphone is going to cost this time. We can also expect a few models from CMF; nothing’s a sub-brand. Nothing’s One 3 Pro is expected to be the first smartphone from its sub-brand, which is set to launch in 2026, and we can also expect the standard CMF Phone 3 and more.

OnePlus

OnePlus has already announced its flagship OnePlus 15 series smartphones for 2026. The lineup includes the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R; you can check our detailed reviews.

And OnePlus is already set to launch its turbo series, which is confirmed to launch in China on January 8, including the flagship 8s Gen 4, massive 9000mAh batteries, and more. The turbo 6 and 6v are expected to launch globally as the OnePlus Nord 6 series, which includes the OnePlus Nord 6 and the OnePlus Nord 6 CE, and we can also expect the successor to the OnePlus compact flagship, the OnePlus 13s, as the OnePlus 15s in the second half of 2026. Oppo

Oppo also has a big lineup planned for 2026. The company is already set to launch its popular Reno and Reno 15 series in mid-January this year. This year, the lineup is also expected to include the Oppo Reno 15 Pro mini, a compact version of the flagship, which might debut later as the OnePlus 13s.

And Oppo is also expected to announce its Ultra smartphone in the X9 series, which is expected to launch sometime in March 2026, and find the X10 series later this year. Oppo is also set to announce its Oppo Find N6 foldable smartphone, and will also announce its new F and A series budget smartphones. Here is the timeline.

Poco

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco will also announce several smartphones this year. The company has already announced the date for Poco M8, which is set to launch in India on January 8. Poco X8 and X8 Pro are also expected to launch this year in January and February, and the Poco F8 series is also expected to make its debut this year for other regions.

Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra have already been launched in early November and will be the flagship devices of 2026. Along with this, the budget M and C series are also expected to make their debut in 2026. Here is the expected Poco devices and timeline.

Realme

If there is one brand that floods the market with plenty of devices, it is Realme, and it has already announced the date for its next number series, the Realme 16 Pro series, in India, which is set to launch on January 6

Along with this, Realme is also expected to launch its GT series, the Realme GT 9 series. We can also expect Narzo and P series from the brand.

Note: Realme will now operate as an Oppo sub-brand.

Redmi

Redmi, Xiaomi’s subbrand, has lost its grip in the market but is still launching its smartphones. Redmi Note 15 series, which includes Redmi Note 15, is set to launch in India on January 6, officially confirmed along with other budget series. Outside India, Redmi is also going to announce its Redmi K series and Redmi Turbo series. Here is the expected launch timeline of those smartphones.

Samsung

Every year, Samsung kicks off the new year with its flagship S series smartphones, and the company is set to announce its Galaxy S26 series.

We already have plenty of leaks and revenue from the dummy version of the phones to get a first look at what these smartphones are going to look like.

However, due to the supply chain constraints, the S26 series might not go on sale until March 2026, which means if you are looking to buy a new flagship smartphone, you might have to hold a little longer.

The popular Samsung foldable smartphone Galaxy Zfold is also set to launch in the second half of 2026. The lineup might also include a galaxy-wide fold with a triple fold phone, which is already available in certain regions, and might also launch in other regions.

Along with these, Samsung is also set to announce its “se” smartphone in the latter part of 2026, Galaxy M, F, and A series smartphones, which are currently the most selling Samsung smartphones globally.

First, the Sony Xperia 1 VIII, which is expected to launch in mid-2026, and also the Sony Xperia 10 VIII and mkd range smartphone, which is expected to debut in 2026. Xperia 5 VIII, a compact version, is also going to debut in 2026; however, Sony’s launch timelines are very unpredictable.
