Anker Brings its Truly Wireless Soundcore Liberty Air Earphones to India for Rs 7,999
Accessory maker, Anker is expanding its line of audio products in India with the launch of the Soundcore Liberty Air. The new pair of earphones comes with an AirPods-style truly wireless design and offers a bunch of premium features for a sum of Rs 7,999. It’s exclusively available on Amazon India and as an introductory offer, Anker is also running a Rs 2,000 discount right now. In addition, ICICI card holders can avail a further 5% off.
The Anker Soundcore Liberty Air feature graphene-coated drivers which promise to deliver deep bass and details. In addition, they’re IPX5 rated and can survive minor water splashes. There are two inbuilt microphones as well which can cancel out external noise for better input during calls and other applications.
The earbuds themselves are touch-sensitive and can be tapped in several combinations to perform quick actions like accept calls, play/pause music, you get the idea. Anker says the Soundcore Liberty Air can last up to five hours on a single charge, while the case offers an additional twenty hours of juice. For charging them, though, sadly, you will have to carry a MicroUSB cable. It’s powered by Bluetooth 5, therefore you can connect multiple devices to it and switch between them.
Anker is also bundling 18-months of warranty. There are two color options to choose from — White and Black. While, on paper, the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air does seem like an ideal value alternative to its Jabra and Apple counterparts, it all depends on how reliable they are. Budget truly wireless earbuds have, up until now, suffered from poor connection issues. That being said, a few reviews suggest they are rather impressive. We will have to test them out to know more.
