Xiaomi just announced the all-new Mi 11X series alongside the Mi 11 Ultra smartphone in India. In addition to these smartphones, the company also unveiled a brand new Mi QLED TV 75 at the event, which it calls “theatre of tomorrow.” Some of the highlights of the Mi QLED TV 75 include a 75-inch 4K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, support for Dolby Vision, HDR, and HLG, and a 64-bit quad-core A55 processor. Let’s dive in to take a closer look at its specifications.

Design and Display

The Mi TV QLED TV 75 features an aluminum alloy frame with a carbon fiber coating at the back to round off the premium design from all sides. It rests on a “floating stand” that appears sturdy and adds to the aesthetics. On the front, the Mi TV has a massive 75-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) QLED panel with a wider (100%) color spectrum to offer better details and depth in the picture. As for other specifications, the TV offers a 10,000:1 contrast ratio with a 120Hz refresh rate and Mi’s Reality Flow MEMC tuning to offer a smooth viewing experience.

Similarly, there is support for major HDR codes onboard, such as Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, with Mi’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine topping things off to provide rich and detailed picture quality.

On the inside, the Mi TV QLED 75 runs on a 64-bit quad-core A55 processor, coupled with Mali G52 MP2 graphics. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Being Mi’s offering, the TV runs on the latest version of PatchWall based on Android TV 10 out of the box. PatchWall now brings a unified experience with the connected home hub and allows users to control their AIoT products right from their TV using the Mi Home App.

Other specifications for the TV include 3x HDMI 2.1 ports with support for Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and e-ARC, 2x USB ports, 1x Ethernet port, 1x audio jack, 30W stereo speakers (6-speaker driver design), built-in far-field mics, and support for Alexa, Google Assistant, and Chromecast.

Pricing and Availability

The Mi TV QLED 75 is priced at Rs 1,19,999. It will be available on Mi.com, Mi Home, and Flipkart starting April 17. Users can also get cashback of up to Rs 7500 with HDFC credit and debit cards. This is the first time a Xiaomi product has breached the Rs 1 lakh price mark and we had suspected this when we mentioned how Redmi TV paves way for Mi to go premium.
